First snow, too much for the ol' girl

We went up the glade trail behind our cabin and the snow was a little crunchy. Sage did not like the sinking or post-holing. We probably went about a mile and a half in, she was ready to turn around and was really sore after.
 
We ended up using a heating pad and aspirin. She bounced back pretty well Monday.
